Then I will send rain on your land in its season……..

I was reminded of this verse when I saw the headling, on Arutz Sheva…….Water Crisis Predicted Due to Scant Winter Rains.

G-d chose the Children of Israel for a very specific task.  He brought them together, gave then the land of Israel, and settled them there.  The calling is an Eternal calling.  Whatever we may “see” happening in our time, and whatever may “seem” to be the eventual outcome……G-d chose Israel.  He gave them the land.  And no country, no terrorist organization or terrorist country, the “Almighty” U.N. and all their “Resolutions”,  or even the Unconquerable United States of America can change that. 

Just as the G-d of Israel made the very world that we wake up to, and gives us life everyday, He has given the Land of Israel to the decendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.   And just as the G-d of Israel has the power to keep us alive even unto this day, He has the power to restore the Land to the nation He chose.  And He will. 

But can that time be hastened?  I believe it can.  OLMERT…..WAKE UP!!  Remember the words of Torah.  Remember the very simple BUT PROFOUND words that tells you, as Prime Minister of Israel, what you need to do.

Deuteronomy 11:13-15
So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today—to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul- then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil.  I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.

The United States, of which I am a citizen, cannot help you now.  And it would be foolish to depend on something as fragile as the might of the U.S.  Might is only given as long as G-d has a plan for it.  And it is taken at His will.

Your only option, if you truly love your land and your people, is to TURN BACK to the G-d who chose your nation.  Whatever things may seem, that is your only option.

We pray everyday, for a United, Peaceful,  Jewish, Jerusalem and for the peace and safety of Israel.
